The poet, songwriter, performer, painter and writer Ivor Cutler has lived an extraordinary life, creating a body of work beloved by a discerning public: television appearances that span five decades, radio appearances across all four BBC networks, records for most major labels and over thirty books. "Looking For Truth With A Pin" includes footage of Ivor's final performance, rare archive appearances, personal photographs, an in-depth interview with the man himself, as well as contributions from amongst others, Mr. Cutler's partner Phyllis King, his son Dan Cutler, Sir Paul McCartney, Billy Connolly, Neil Innes, and Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand. Paul Spencer's film celebrates the life and work of a genuine British original.

"Cutler's Last Stand"
In February 2004, Ivor Cutler gave his farewell performance at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall. The concert includes readings from his clasic "Life in a Scotch Sitting Room" as well as favourites like "Beautiful Cosmos", "Lemonade" and "Barabadabada".
